Destination weddings Destination wedding videography in India

When the wedding moves somewhere new, we travel with it.

Destination weddings bring together people who don’t often share a room: two families from two places, friends who flew in, relatives meeting for the first time. Those first meetings, and the way a group settles into a new place over a few days, are often the heart of the film.

A destination wedding is usually more than one day, and the film can be too: the arrivals, the dinners, the quiet mornings before the ceremony, the last night when nobody wants to leave.

Whether it’s Goa, Rajasthan, the hills or a family home in another state, travel depends on the place and the plan. Tell us where and when, and we’ll work it out together.

Some of it we shoot on real film, so part of your day ends up as negatives you can hold.

Questions

What is a documentary wedding film?

A wedding video made from what actually happened, not from scenes set up for the camera. Nobody is posed, nothing is repeated, and the imperfect bits stay in, because that’s what the day really looked like. It’s the only way we work.

Do you really shoot on film?

Yes. Alongside the wedding film we carry cameras loaded with real film, from Kodak, Fujifilm and CineStill to black-and-white stock. Every frame is developed, scanned and kept as a negative.

Where do you work?

Wherever the story is: Kochi and Ernakulam, all over Kerala, destination weddings across India, and weddings abroad.

Planning a destination wedding?

The date, the place, the people, the chaos. We’ll take it from there.
