Wedding film questions Questions, answered.
Ask us anything on WhatsApp. Straight answers, no sales pitch.
What is a documentary wedding film?
A wedding video made from what actually happened, not from scenes set up for the camera. Nobody is posed, nothing is repeated, and the imperfect bits stay in, because that’s what the day really looked like. It’s the only way we work.
Do you really shoot on film?
Yes. Alongside the wedding film we carry cameras loaded with real film, from Kodak, Fujifilm and CineStill to black-and-white stock. Every frame is developed, scanned and kept as a negative.
Where do you work?
Wherever the story is: Kochi and Ernakulam, all over Kerala, destination weddings across India, and weddings abroad.
How much does a wedding film cost?
It depends on the day: how many events, how long, and where. Tell us about your wedding on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form and we’ll send you the details.
How do we book?
Start with a message on WhatsApp, a call, or the enquiry form. Share your date and place, and we’ll confirm whether we’re free and talk it through.
Where can we watch more of your work?
Selected films are on this site and on YouTube. Stills and short clips from recent weddings are on Instagram at @absolutelyknotfilms.
Do you make save-the-date and pre-wedding videos?
Yes. Save-the-date and pre-wedding films are shot the same way as the wedding: no poses, no script, just the two of you. See Vinay & Aswathy and Vaishnav & Devayani on the films page.
Tell us everything.
The date, the place, the people, the chaos. We’ll take it from there.
