Why we still carry film

Thirty-six frames. No screen to check, no delete button. Film makes us choose, then wait, then live with what we got.

So we watch the moment instead of a screen. What comes back can’t be faked: highlights that bloom, grain in the shadows, colour that leans warm or cold with the stock and the light. Sometimes a light leak. We keep those too.

And a negative is a thing you can hold. Long after the files have bounced between phones and hard drives, it’s still there: the day, exactly as the light fell on it.

Do you really shoot on film?

Yes. Alongside the wedding film we carry cameras loaded with real film, from Kodak, Fujifilm and CineStill to black-and-white stock. Every frame is developed, scanned and kept as a negative.

Want some of it on real film?

The date, the place, the people, the chaos. We’ll take it from there.
