Kerala meets Italy. Shot through a Kowa Prominar 2x anamorphic and vintage primes.
Wedding videography across Kerala, from a dawn muhurtham to a church wedding with a choir to a nikah that ends in a long lunch.
Kerala weddings change from one district to the next, and from one family to the next. We travel across the state for them: Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam in the south, Thrissur and Palakkad in the middle, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod in Malabar, and the hill and backwater country in between.
The rules don’t change with the district: nothing staged, nothing repeated. We’re there for the shaky hands before the thali or minnu is tied, the cousins who hijack the dance floor, the grandparents who have seen it all and say so.
Some of the best films come from the simplest days: a family home in a village, a temple courtyard at sunrise, a hall full of people who all seem to be related. No production. Just people.
Some of it we shoot on real film, so part of your day ends up as negatives you can hold.
A wedding video made from what actually happened, not from scenes set up for the camera. Nobody is posed, nothing is repeated, and the imperfect bits stay in, because that’s what the day really looked like. It’s the only way we work.
Yes. Alongside the wedding film we carry cameras loaded with real film, from Kodak, Fujifilm and CineStill to black-and-white stock. Every frame is developed, scanned and kept as a negative.
Wherever the story is: Kochi and Ernakulam, all over Kerala, destination weddings across India, and weddings abroad.
The date, the place, the people, the chaos. We’ll take it from there.
